Connecticut law
requires certain workers to have at least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction
Outreach Card.

Rhode Island law,
in effect since approximately 2002, requires certain workers to have at
least an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Card.

Workplace TrainingOSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Training Program
The OSHA 10-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program is a voluntary
training program designed to help entry level workers comply with federal OSHA
requirements. The purpose is to increase construction site safety awareness and
compliance, and reduce a company's risk of fines and penalties resulting from
OSHA violations. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive
a course completion card directly from OSHA.
The benefits of this training are immediate as participants learn how to prevent
accidents and injuries. The course will include comprehensive instruction in the
OSHA Construction Standards and can be tailored to your particular industry.

Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act/General Duty Clause, Inspections,
Citations, and Penalties.

Fall Protection
Required:
One of the following: Materials Handling, Storage, Use, or Disposal. Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, and Conveyors. Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment,
Construction Equipment
Required:
At least one of the following
Stairways and Ladders, Scaffolding, Excavations.
For the remaining five hours of the
10-hr. class, we can tailor the subject matter to your particular operation or
