Time to Post the OSHA Annual Summary
It's that time again! Beginning February 1, employers must post a summary of the total number of job-related injuries and illness that occurred last year.  As a reminder, employers are only required to post the Summary (OSHA Form 300A) - not the OSHA 300 Log.  The posting must be available from February 1 to April 30, and is to be displayed in a common area where notices to employees are usually posted.

From 1996 to 2007, OSHA collected work-related injury and illness data collected from more than 80,000 employers. Today that information became available in a searchable online database, allowing the public to look at establishment or industry-specific injury and illness data.  read more...
